Safra Sarasin is seeking to extend their global process excellence (PEX) team. This team targets to improve performance of the Bank’s core processes by utilizing best-of-breed improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM, etc.) and by leveraging technology. The PEX team is part of the central "Business Development and Support" department, originator of all major change-the-bank initiatives.Responsibilities
Identify opportunities with potential to significantly improve performance of processes in client onboarding and operations (e.g. central file, payments, trade support, custody services, reconciliation) regarding client experience, efficiency and productivity
Lead and own multi-disciplinary process improvement projects, typically with a complete front-to-back scope from the idea phase to final implementation
Shaping a vision of future process performance, drafting plans and mobilizing stakeholders to pursue execution
Drive change and monitor process performance after implementation
Align solutions with our international locations to ensure process improvements are standardized and can be applied globally across the group
Collaborate with functional experts (across departments) to identify root causes and opportunities, and balance requirements of stakeholders to design the best process for the bank
In case of technology enhancements write specifications/requirements, ensure testing, training, and communication to stakeholders
Profiles
University/higher education degree. At least 8 years’ experience within the financial sector, preferably Private Banking
Experience in streamlining and automatizing client onboarding process or operations processes (e.g. central file, payments, trade support, custody services, reconciliation)
Expected to have a qualified opinion, and lead key PEX principles by example. High intrinsic motivation, ability to energize and mobilize others for the cause
T-profile: broad know how of private banking processes and products, good conceptual and analytical skills coupled with pragmatic problem solving skills and hands-on implementation attitude
Proven experience in applying methodologies like Lean, Six Sigma and overall project management methods
Experience in business analysis and writing IT specifications; experience with Avaloq Core Banking system desired
Excellent verbal and writing skills in English and German, French is a plus
