We are looking for a proactive and independent Associate Director with focus on eSports in our Virtual Sports team.

Job Requirements


 


Job description:



  • Review and modify/append the current eSports strategy and present a viable, attractive Virtual Sports strategy (incl. eSports) and a corresponding business plan/case to the Group Management Board (GMB of Infront)

  • Build up a new eSports function in line with the strategy approved by the GMB with the long-term goal to establish a dedicated Business Unit (P&L, profitable above-market growth)

  • Represent Infront to key eSports clients such as publishers, brands and associated media partners and generate profitable business in line with Infront's core competences

  • Manage Virtual Sports strategy and direct our media partners, brands and publishers in the execution, evaluation, and optimization of those strategies against target objectives

  • Drive future development of the HQ eSports function, and build and lead the corresponding team

  • Support relevant Infront Business Units in matters related to eSports and gamification (e.g. support in license agreement negotiations with game publishers)

  • Continuously evaluate options in the wider interactive entertainment matrix incl. possibilities to develop and own gaming assets

  • Be an essential point on partner proposals, from creative ideation and partnering with internal departments to proposal development and fielding incoming requests from the partner

  • Maintain a deep and current understanding of eSports, sports and entertainment industries


Skills & competencies:



  • Several years of experience in business development, structuring and building projects from creation through launch and ongoing execution

  • Experience in partnerships and business development in gaming, sports, content distribution, or live entertainment would be an asset

  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and project management capabilities

  • Excellent sales and networking skills

  • Proven record of an existing network related to the Virtual Sports industry

  • Reporting into the Head of People, Innovation & Corporate Services, later potentially into the CEO of Infront Group
