As a Distribution IT Business Analyst / Requirements Engineer, you will be part of the Distribution & Payment Solutions IT Service Factory within the Lufthansa Group and therein responsible for the business analysis / requirements for the implementation (and later the operation) of a Touristic Distribution Solution.
Within an interdisciplinary project organization, you will be part of the IT project with 6-10 employees from various IT domains of Lufthansa Group. The goal of the IT project is to implement a state-of-the-art software solution that supports the business concept and processes of a full or partial charter airline. You will have the rare opportunity to build up a business model and its IT operation from scratch; consequently, the setup of all Application Management Services (based on ITIL) will be part of the project.
Ideally you have a background in airline IT or you worked in an IT department of a tour operator or you have a good general understanding of tour operator processes related to airlines overall.
Some of your strongest skills should include the conducting end-to-end business analysis, gathering and documenting requirements, understanding and defining IT processes, identifying possible technical obstacles and possible solutions, managing external software providers and communicating transparent within the organization.
