In order to empower and increase the development of the organization, SCHURTER AG opens a po-sition at the Competence Center EMC-EMS for a Head Supply Chain EMC-EMS (w/m).

Duties and responsibilities

• Lead and further develop the purchasing department, planning, warehouse & logistics to ensure a global optimized supply chain for both EMC and EMS products


• Plan, implement and monitor global supply chain strategy to maximize efficiency and productivi-ty


• Leadership and team building to achieve defined targets


• Ensure on time deliveries of finished products to customers considering optimization of total costs of ownership


• Lead and manage product transfers in strict collaboration with production plants


• Guarantee a proper Lifecycle Management of each component especially by Phase-OUT process


• Standardize and guarantee a continuous update of master data

Requirements and qualifications

• Bachelor in Supply Chain Management or Engineering


• Previous working experience as a Supply Chain Manager


• Skills in project management and time management


• Critical thinker and problem solving skills


• Strong communicative skills


• Willingness to travel to production plants


• Fluency in English and Italian; German knowledge will be a plus for the selection


• Skilled interpersonal and collaborative abilities
