Role Summary:


The purpose of the Senior Account Manager role is to identify new customers for our Client’s portfolio of products, identify their needs, drive the creation of a deliverable solution, and negotiate the optimum commercial deal and to close the deal in a way that allows maximum cash flow whilst building a lasting relationship. The main focus for the sales efforts of this role is the sales of Unified ICT Services.


Internal Departments they will interact with:


The post holder will develop and maintain key internal relationships with product development and operational delivery teams in order to ensure the sold solution can and is delivered.


Main Responsibilities:



  • Understanding the business objectives, processes and support needs of the clients and prospects in order to develop for our client the appropriate competitive response solution:

  • Understanding and identifying the ‘Prospects/accounts key business processes to help embed competitive response solutions into the workflow of the client

  • Developing strong relationships with the key functional user base and senior executives of clients and prospects.

  • Collaborating with our client presales teams and Client Solutions Group to ensure opportunity identification to drive business growth and renewals

  • Qualifying the prospects/accounts buying, budgeting and decision process to ensure accurate forecasts of renewals and new business

  • This position is a 80% HUNTING sales position. Farmers are not invited to apply!


Ideal Candidate Profile:



  • Minimum of 10 years successful consultative sales experience to large sized companies in the targeted industry sectors. 

  • Consistent history of over-achievement of quarterly/annual sales quotas

  • Strong knowledge of the latest trends of the targeted industry sectors

  • Experience in managing multiple complex sales cycles in conjunction with brokering and scheduling high-level meetings

  • Effective prioritization and time management skills

  • Knowledge of corporate IT organizations and business drivers for outsourcing

  • Knowledge of Unified ICT Services
