discover the next life-changing therapeutics. We are currently offering a position for a scientist in the field of systems
biology .

Your tasks

• Develop and optimize approaches for parameterization of reaction networks and parameter uncertainty
  estimation


• Develop mathematical models of G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) signaling focusing on the temporal
  aspects of ligand–receptor interactions and their implications on signaling and trafficking


• Integrate and optimize the models with in-house generated kinetic experimental data


• Analyze model simulations in combination with compound databases to correlate SAR with in vivo effects

Requirements
For this position, you qualify with a PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Computational Biology.

• Strong background in modelling of dynamic biochemical networks and computational biology


• Experience with numerical simulations of ordinary differential equations


• Experience with statistics and optimization techniques


• You have a strong publication record in the field of systems biology


• You are a proactive person, team oriented and have a great attention to detail


• You need excellent communication skills and fluency in English
