The Lean CI Leader is responsible for actively supporting lean cultural change within a dedicated business area(s). He/she facilitates and actively participates on the implementation of lean initiatives that support the area’s objectives in safety, quality, delivery, cost and people.
Your tasks
To support a positive Safety and Quality Culture
Lead lean CI projects or initiatives that support the BU lean CI plan
To continuously identify and reduce non-value-added activities from the assigned business area by participating in area’s go look learn/waste walks
To support the organization in rolling out LEAN/CI through
Theoretical and practical training
Act as a first level of support on lean-related matters in their area
Provision of lean tools/methodologies/projects support
Compliance with lean tool standards
To orchestrate and drive the business area’s improvement activities, projects or workshops such as: - Value stream mapping and optimization (Current state, future state, implementation) - Standardization and simplification (process documentation, standard work definition) - Practical problem solving (root cause analysis investigations) - 5S (workshops, audits, daily activities)
Best practice sharing and implementation across business areas
To implement a lean value flow within the business area while developing a mindset of continuous improvement across the organization
Your profile
Bachelor degree in quality, process, industrial engineering or similar practical experience
Green belt training or equivalent in Lean CI and practical application of lean CI (min 2 yrs.)
Experience in the use of process management tools (min 2 yrs.)
Experience in the use of project management tools as a project leader (min. 1 yr.), ideally formal project management certification
Working experience in an Aerospace/ MRO operations environment (min 1 yr.)
Languages: English B2 & C2; German C1
