TA Account Opening Manager

For our AM Institutional Solutions department we are looking for a TA Account Opening Manager in Zurich, fixed-term for 6 months, to manage and process the TA account opening for Vontobel’s Luxembourg Funds with the Luxembourg Transfer Agent to ensure an efficient and smooth onboarding of investors into Vontobel funds.

Your Challenge

• Act as single point of contact for the Luxembourg Transfer Agent and our sales organisation with regard to shareholder account openings


• Coordinate and manage account openings from a management company perspective; specifically, gather and analyse information to ensure appropriate KYC, conduct risk assessment and apply risk mitigation measures in accordance with 4th AML regulation


• Collaborate closely with AM Compliance to develop and consistently apply Vontobel AML/KYC standard in line with local regulations


• Advise on and support the implementation of procedures to further automate and standardise the TA account opening process

 

Your Qualification

• At least five years of working experience in the fund management industry (e.g. transfer agent, management company or asset manager)


• Client-oriented behaviour focusing on solutions


• Hands-on mentality combined with a structured working style


• Proven experience with stakeholder management across different areas


• Good knowledge of Luxembourg AML regulations


• Fluent in English both written and spoken, German / French would be considered as an advantage
