Our Business Unit “Life Science Robotics“ provides laboratory automation solutions around liquid handling for a wide range of applications, like Pharma, Genomics, Forensics and Diagnostics.

For this interesting position, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team for the development and qualification of liquid handling workstations. Your tasks include but may not be limited to the following responsibilities:

Aufgaben:

• Program automated applications for sample preparation for LC-MS according to internal programming guidelines.


• Biologically qualify newly developed automation applications.


• Work in close collaboration and alignment with external partners and collaborators and coordinate development activities on the technical, biological and automation level.


• Ensure defined quality criteria for automated workflows are met.


• Participate in pre-sales activities and in projects realization phase as consultant for the applications.


• Train and instruct field application specialists in the use of the automated applications.


• Create required documentation and reports.


• Travel (up to 20%) to meet with project teams, hold application trainings and participate in scientific congresses.

Anforderungen:

• Advanced degree (MSc) in Biochemistry or relevant Biological with focus on analytics and LC-MS


• At least 3 years of experience in the field of laboratory automation and analytics.


• Broad general knowledge of LC-MS sample preparation techniques and operation of LC-MS systems.


• Experience with automated liquid handling systems is a plus.


• Programming skills for laboratory equipment – preferably automated liquid handling systems.


• Ability to summarize and present relevant data comprehensively and comprehensibly.


• Good time management skills with the ability to balance multiple parallel tasks.


• Comprehensive verbal and written communication skills in English and German.


• High level of self-motivation with a proactive, collaborative personality.
