Global Head Components Sales 100 %


What you will do

In this challenging and important role you are responsible for the profitable growth of the components business of our Partnering Business (PB). Furthermore you will be the line manager of our components sales groups in the US, EMEA, APAC and Japan.
  
Responsibilities will include



  • Defining, with the support of the Head Commercial Operations, on sales and field support execution

  • Planning growth expansion for existing components accounts: establishment of account plans and training of local sales representative

  • Establishing supply agreements

  • Leading the rapid customization/prototype resources assigned to this task in order to present customized solutions to selected customers in a timely fashion, closely cooperates with R&D and Marketing on this task

  • Establishing suitable technical support skills in existing technical support teams to give best in class support to customers and prospects

  • Giving input on marketing and communication initiatives (web, email, trade shows etc)

  • Identifying OEM/distributor opportunities (globally) to commercialize components products in new geographies of adjacent applications

  • Drive prioritization of product enhancement and roadmap to expand our product range into high growth applications in close alignment with VP Components Marketing


What you bring along



  • A degree in Economics, Engineering or Science

  • Extensive experience in Business Development and Business Management

  • Extensive experience in key account management and strategic selling

  • 5 years’ experience in sales of Components, if possible Tecan Components

  • 10 years’ experience in leadership of a sales team in an international environment

  • 10 years’ experience in the Life Science Market

  • Excellent English skills

  • Very good negotiation and communication skills
