Zurich Insurance Mobile Solutions (ZIMS) has been established as a new company to fulfill these needs by developing and implementing innovative, value-adding propositions and services for the digital world and rapidly deploy those capabilities across our markets around the world.
Along with the Head of Digital Business Services and Digital Platforms, the Solutions Architect Innovation & Digital will join ZIMS to create and deliver new innovative and disruptive services to the market. The Solutions Architect is accountable for taking an idea from initial conception to deployment as well as understanding the various aspects of a solution and iterating it as required.
Your Role
As a Solution Architect – Innovation & Digital your main responsibilities will involve:
Continually building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g. business, technology and operational teams) and partners to facilitate collaboration.
Leading the maturity of the innovations’ solution through a clear vision in order to direct and lead workshops, meetings and the touchpoints involved in order to bring the idea to market.
At times you may be creating more than one solution and be involved in selecting the 3rd parties you’ll be working with for implementation.
As a Solution Architect – Innovation & Digital your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
Proven ability to understand a market and business opportunity and its associated capability requirements
Knowledge of how a solution and customer value proposition comes together and the multiple facets of marketing, business, technology and operational layers that need to be considered in order to execute
Proven track record of having launched a solution or proposition to market
Agile IT delivery methods and their application in projects, programmes and solutions development
Proactive approach in building professional relationships with customers, vendors, partners and internal stakeholders
Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal; a second major European language is a significant advantage
High standards of quality in documentation skills and presentation experience
This role would be an excellent move for some who currently works in large bid teams (ideally with BFSI or Cyber Security) within a digital agency, IT services company or management consultancy
Additional Information
Primary work location is Zürich. Some occasional travel required (20%).
