In this role you will support the Methodology, Oversight & Reporting team to further develop and maintain group level Compliance oversight and reporting procedures and solutions. You will support to continuously refine procedures and the solution as well as reporting.


You will contribute to the overall development of the function by supporting the effective execution of the Compliance mandate.

 
Your Role
 

As an Oversight & Reporting Compliance Consultant your main responsibilities will involve:

 

  • Supporting the team’s process owners to enhance the functional oversight and reporting procedures (including programming of complex MS Excel templates, setting up and navigating MS Access databases)


  • Supporting the team to ensure sufficient Group oversight by facilitation of alignment meetings and challenge sessions


  • Contributing to providing monthly functional management reporting, and quarterly reporting to the ExCo and AC

  • Contributing to implementation and administration of a technical solution allowing efficient and effective functional reporting and related data retention

  • Supporting the update and maintenance of relevant Compliance documents (incl. Zurich Compliance Program, Zurich Compliance Charter)


Your Skills and Experience
 

As an Oversight & Reporting Compliance Consultant your skills and qualifications will ideally include:



  • Professional education (University level) preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Law or Risk Management

  • 1-3 years professional experience in a similar role within the financial sector or consultancy/external audit

  • Information Technology (IT) – data analytics, data base management. Excellent MS Excel skills including VBA are a must

  • Superior skills in service delivery and attention to detail

  • Experience in Management reporting and presentations is a plus

  • Assurance know-how is a plus

  • In-depth practical knowledge of Insurance business model and operations, Insurance products and Insurance regulations and regulatory developments

  • Strong knowledge of Zurich’s business set-up, Zurich’s global operating model and operations

  • Strong written and verbal communication (incl. presentations skills)

  • Excellent command of English is required. German and any additional language would be an asset.
