Wood have an opening for a Package Manager/Project Engineer to support our client based in Switzerland on a long term assignment.
Responsibilities:
Temporary decommissioning, isolation and recommissioning activities are complex operations involving many stakeholders including technology contractors (isolation tools, tracking), onshore commissioning spread contractor, offshore support contractor (for pig stopper installation, subsea pig launching, pig tracking), gas control, temporary decommissioning isolation and recommissioning specialist engineering (e.g. flow assurance), authorities and environment specialists.
The secondee will report to the Client’s Emergency Pipeline Repair System lead engineer. They will coordinate and/or assist Company representative on contracts management, mainly related to temporary decommissioning, isolation and recommissioning. The Secondee will provide support until end of February 2020 with envisaged extension after this initial period, based full time in the client office in Switzerland (to be confirmed) with travel expected to Germany, Norway, Europe and Russia.
