We provide the planning and implementation of high-value, quality human resources programs, practices and procedures for people at all levels. We’re also trusted to advise and support our staff on HR policy and programs, in line with the company’s strategic direction.


We are looking for a hands on HR Generalist to join our team in Switzerland and play a key role in the evolution of Dell Technologies.


The Role


Scope: Part of the Swiss Country Management Team, Provide HR Country Leadership for Zurich, Bern and Geneva sites. (travel required)


You will be responsible for development, implementation, administration and operation of high-value quality human resources programs, practices and procedures to all levels of team members. Assists in the integration of complex business factors to build business capability, development and succession plan, and drive business change efforts. This is a individual contributor role, no direct reports.


Key Responsibilities



  • Support HR partnership, ensuring strong employment brand, team member engagement and local execution of Dell’s Culture Code

  • Foster an engaging workplace through a great place to work strategy for your country.

  • Ensure full compliance of the regional people/HR agenda with Dell’s code of conduct, as well as local country laws, practices and regulations.

  • Serves as primary HR consultant for non-executive managers, external stakeholder’s.

  • Develops, implements and administers company programs.

  • Analyses business challenges and HR programs to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Work in partnership with HR Operations in support of the local execution activities related to mergers, acquisitions and divestitures. Includes local execution and program management of harmonization and integration activities and successful transition of team members within the region.     


Essential Requirements



  • Minimum 6 - 8 years experience in a similar role, matrix and complex environment

  • Expert in local employment and labour law

  • Brevet federal RH / HR-Fachleute with eidg. Fachausweis is an asset

  • Strong consulting and coaching skills, support timely and exhibit sound/accurate judgment, leverage team to getting things done

  • Digital capability (content creation, problem solving and innovation)

  • Languages: Native / Bilingual French and German and Fluent English
