Senior Brand Manager, Chocolate and Biscuits, Switzerland



 
Purpose of Role: 

Senior Brand Manager is responsible for development of Chocolate and Biscuits portfolio across Swiss market (Toblerone, Milka, Oreo, TUC, Mikado). The key purpose of the role is to provide strategic direction for Swiss Snacking portfolio in line with European portfolio strategy and ensure excellent execution of the plan, delivering financial results in line with company's goals & targets. 

 
Main Responsibilities:

  • Development of Chocolate & Biscuits portfolio strategy for Swiss market under Marketing Manager supervision in line with company's goals & targets

  • Lead Chocolate & Biscuits multiple Brand plans development and implementation, including innovation agenda, portfolio management, Equity building and activation in-line with agreed Swiss portfolio strategy and Brand Equity in order to drive business growth and achieve financial targets

  • Liaises cross-functionally and lead Category Planning / Sales team in portfolio and brand analysis for development of the respective brand in Swiss market (Market Analyses, consumer insights, brand plans, promotional plans etc.)

  • Manage, Motivate & Develop Brand team

  • Holds full responsibility for Advertising budget for respective Brands; actively influences the achievement of the annual P&L targets by monitoring business performance and stipulating corrective actions where needed


Qualifications


To be successful in this role, you need to bring the following qualities:

  • University Degree

  • 7+ years of Brand Marketing experience from a global, leading FMCG company; experience in food/ beverages would be a plus

  • Profound understanding and experience in Swiss market; experience from other European market would be of an asset

  • Strong understanding of financials / P&L

  • 2+ years of people management experience

  • Proven track record in successful innovations development and launching combined with experience in development & execution of ATL and cross-country BTL campaigns

  • Experience in working with multinational and remote teams

  • Proven experience in developing and bringing Brand strategy to life

  • Strong analytical skills & business acumen

  • Native German and good English; ideally also knowledge of Swiss German, French and/or Italian
