In order to support this growth and build an exciting new business unit we are looking for a talented sales person to join our successful and highly motivated Hotel team.
As a new business sales executive you will be responsible for generating leads and winning contracts by selling our solutions directly to those prospects within a geographical territory or named set of accounts.
Your goal is to sell business applications software, hardware and related services to prospective customers in the Swiss Hotel industry following a consultative sales approach. It is important to manage your sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning. You will develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the sales lifecycle and create strong business value propositions that will ultimately best position you to formulate contractual agreements to close the sale.
A technical background related to hospitality IT solutions would be a plus. Knowledge in Hotel solutions and/or knowledge and experiences with the former MICROS products would be another plus and advantage.
As an Oracle Hospitality Account Manager the applicant will be responsible for generating leads and revenue by selling Oracle Solutions and Services into the Hotel Sector.
The candidate must have the ability to communicate, sell and close business at all levels.
Ideally the successful candidate should come from either a Corporate Sales background having provided IT solutions into the Hotel and/or from the Hospitality industry.
Key Tasks / Responsibilities to include
Meet and exceed agreed sales and gross margin targets consistently.
Generate new business and ability to grow an extensive, qualified pipeline
Demonstrated experience and confidence in negotiating and closing sales
Manage, develop and maintain sales plans and processes within designated area of responsibility within business unit
Weekly and monthly reporting on sales forecasts
Keep up to date on all of Oracle Hospitality's products and services
Help support and provide all necessary information to the Marketing department
Ability to present and demonstrate competently at all levels
Strong Sales experience with a background in hunting and farming for new business and account management.
Communication skills / Fluent in local language
Knowledge of software sales environments.
Very good knowledge of Hospitality business processes, ideally with the Hotel Industry
Previous experience in international, structured environment.
Experience selling to the Hospitality industry is useful
Experience selling Cloud/SaaS solutions will be very useful.
Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracle’s competitors.

An mid-level sales position targeting small-to-medium sized businesses. The SMB Sales Rep works to achieve maximum sales profitability, growth, and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by effectively selling the company’s products and/or related services.
Qualify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry. Consult and sell products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, and recommending solutions. Research and analyze sales options, and close deals.
Duties and tasks are standard with some variation. Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures. Works under general supervision. 2 years of related experience. Ability to communicate effectively with high level decision makers. Ability to work independently.
