Amcor is currently looking for a Talent & Development Manager to fill a current vacancy.


The successful candidate will join the Corporate Talent team and be based out of Amcor's Global Headquarter in Zurich, Switzerland.


 


This role is imbedded in the HR organisation and reports directly into Director Talent & Development.


For a Talent Management and Learning Specialist or HR Generalist with experience in global talent and development initiatives, this represents a great opportunity to build organizational capability to meet business objectives.


 


The key responsibilities will be following but not limited to:



  • Talent & Development Programs – Design, develop, and deliver key talent & development initiatives (e.g. development programs) that build organizational capability, including building capability depths in functional areas

  • Accelerated Career Development Program – Manage all aspects of the Accelerated Career Development Program (ACDP) including a strong focus on driving continuous improvement by:

    • Attracting candidate, selecting and managing on-boarding, coordinating rotations and assignments planning; monitoring job contributions; coaching; advising managers on training and coaching.

    • Acting as a single point of contact for managers regarding the ACDP

    • Defining innovative strategies to improve quality candidate generation through vendor tools, recruiting technology solutions, and other platforms such as social media, mobile, digital, etc

    • Budget management of ACDP


  • Talent and development projects – Design, manage and deliver key talent and leadership development projects across the Amcor Group.

  • Talent & Development (T&D) Network – Participate in the Global T&D Directors Network to focus on “One Amcor” initiatives and improve sharing across the company.

  • Talent Acquisition – Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to support talent initiatives e.g. proactive talent pipelining

  • Vendor Management – Interface with, and manage key vendors related to various talent activities, including management of supplier contracts and invoicing.

  • Continuous Improvement – Drive improvements in Group-wide learning and development programs and activity.


 


Requirements:



  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business or related field, with a Master’s degree in a related field preferred.


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in progressively challenging HR positions as either a specialist or generalist.


  • Depth and breadth of experience generalist and/or specialist experience with depth of skill and experience in Talent Management and/or Learning & Development.


  • Strong Project Management experience.

  • Track record of leading initiatives that have resulted in building improved organizational capability.

  • Global Experience supporting multi-national client groups and across different cultures.

  • Written and oral English fluency required.
