Head of Operational Excellence and PMO

Your role: Reporting to the Site Head, the Head of local OE and PMO is accountable for delivering business impact on the site, through a holistic approach consisting of optimizing processes, management infrastructure and leadership behaviors. You will drive continuous improvement projects and programs, and drive our continued improvement mindset and culture, based on Lean Six Sigma, 5S or other such principles. Maintain an overview, understanding and insight of site performances. Promote a culture of transparency, clearly identify and communicate when problems or potential risks arise, and proactively support the identification for solutions in a results oriented manner. Be responsible for identifying, gaining approval for, and driving strategic advancements within the site and the global strategy to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence. Cascade improvement projects on site. Provide coaching to project leaders and mid-managers, in order to ensure processes, management infrastructure and leadership behaviors are compliant with the highest industry standards across Safety, Quality, Service, and Efficiency. Promote a Continuous Improvement mindset on site fostering standardization and implementing other lean tools by means of the Global Production and Supply System. Will support the development of leadership behaviors and especially to the site OE team.


 


Who you are



  • Min 10 years’ experience in operations management required

  • Black Belt certification required

  • Previous experience in a Pharmaceutical and / or Biotech environment a must

  • Engineer, chemist, biologist, pharmacist or equivalent background preferable

  • Good knowledge and application of continuous improvement methods and mindsets

  • Fluent in local language and English
