We are looking for a Group Compliance Officer (m/f/w) based in our headquarter located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall, Switzerland. As part of our dedicated global Legal & Compliance team, you report directly to the Group General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer (GGC & CCO).


 


Your primary tasks/responsibilities



  • Risk assessment & mitigation: You identify potential areas of compliance vulnerabilities and risks. You develop and implement corrective action plans and provide general guidance to the business on how to avoid or deal with problematic situations

  • Monitoring: You monitor the performance and effectiveness of the compliance management system on a continuous basis and you take appropriate steps to further improve its effectiveness

  • Policies & procedures: You develop, maintain and revise policies, guidelines and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance function and its related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct

  • Investigation of compliance incidents: You respond to alleged violations of regulations, policies, procedures, and standards of conduct by evaluating the initiation of investigative procedures; you manage SIG’s whistleblowing hotline and handle related reports; you collaborate with other departments to direct compliance issues to appropriate existing channels for investigation and resolution

  • Training & communication: You develop and conduct compliance trainings and communication on compliance topics


 


Your qualifications/required skills



  • Master degree in law, business administration or auditing

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant practical experience, including in the manufacturing industry

  • Experience in forensic investigations

  • Experience in developing interactive training tools

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with high ability to work in a global multi-cultural business environment

  • Strong analytical and methodological skills

  • High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment

  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required; German would be an advantage

  • Willingness to travel: 10%-20%, maximum 25%
