What are the specific tasks?
In addition to my weekly maintenance and calibration tasks, my responsibilities include efficiently fixing any problems that occur during machine operation. These can include electronic, mechanical and hydraulic issues. I also cultivate good relationships with suppliers and service partners, who I consult and coordinate with during longer downtimes.
What are the daily challenges?
Our high-tech production facilities must be constantly available. This means quickly and permanently fixing outages. The detective work needed to find solutions to problems is a really exciting challenge. The sources of the issues are always really different, meaning there's a lot of variety from day to day.
