HR Business Partner (f/m/d) SAP Switzerland


 


 


PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES


As an HRBP Business Partner, you are a very experienced HR consultant to executives and senior managers on strategic topics. You are a thought leader and change champion, contributing to the enhancement of talent management and leadership capabilities within the organizations you support. You are a key influencer and efficiently deliver and scale solutions by working with a global community of HRBPs as well as partners in the HR Practices and Global Service Delivery. You also participate in cross-functional projects and taskforces to support strategic initiatives, this could for example be supporting our Digital HR Experience (dHRx) program in co-selling our HCM solutions to customers. This role directly reports to the Director of HR Switzerland.


 


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


In the role of HRBP Expert, you own and independently execute on the following four HR services within the HR portfolio:


 


HR Strategy by Area:



  • You translate SAP's HR strategy into programs and initiatives for our people and you are responsible for supporting your business leaders to define a people strategy for their organizations, partnering with them on the roll-out, and execution.


 


Team & Organization Development:



  • You are responsible for team and organization development activities. You consult your business leaders on how to build effective organizational structures, organizational culture and employee engagement.


 


Transformation Management:



  • You support the business in SAP’s transformation to THE cloud company and help to identify the change need and impact. You support complex cross-functional projects by managing change and transformation from a consulting and legal perspective. You independently design relevant initiatives and drive the change agenda by partnering with the business.


 


Workforce Insights & Planning:



  • You are responsible for planning workforce planning activities in line with business needs, converting insights into action plans with other HR partners, such as Talent Acquisition. You identify measures to address these workforce needs and drive execution and monitoring.


 


As an HRBP, you also support the following HR services that are owned by other functions in HR:

  • Merger and Acquisition services

  • Executive recruitment and onboarding

  • Team management

  • Surveys


 


Career Development related:



  • Leadership development

  • Learning & career development

  • SAP Talk

  • Rewards related:

  • Executive compensation

  • Compensation

  • Stock plans


 


WORK EXPERIENCE



  • At least 5 years’ overall working experience, minimum 3+ years in an HRBP position or comparable working experience.

  • Ideally experience in different areas of HR, such as HR Practices or Global Service Delivery.


 


EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES


 


Education and Qualifications



  • You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a Human Resources or a related subject, or you have comparable experience in another line of business.

  • Skills and Competencies  

  • Experience in management of senior stakeholders’ expectations and working in a fast-paced and complex organization

  • Business fluency in English and German is a must and proficiency with MS Office as well as HR Technologies.

  • Strong business insight with a strategic, analytical and operational perspective and the capability to quickly understand business strategy and HR implications; able to present these ideas in a meaningful presentation.

  • A flexible, can-do and pragmatic personality who can deal with ambiguity, negotiate compromises and is able to deliver practical and creative HR solutions to meet business challenges

  • Solid knowledge and experience of Swiss employment law as well as HR standard methodologies in performance management, talent management, compensation, organizational design, training and development.
