Head Accounting (Geneva/Zurich)

For our client, a well-known Private Bank in Geneva/Zurich, we are currently looking for a highly motivated and experienced personality as Head of Accounting. You will be responsible for a team of 4-5 employees and travel 50/50 between Geneva and Zurich (main location Geneva). You will report directly to the Group Financial Controller.




Tätigkeiten:

• Responsible for developing the accounting systems and keeping it up-to-date on a daily basis



• Prepares reports for the central bank


• Responsible for control and breakdown of interest rates in the performance reports for monthly, quarterly and annual statements


• Defines and implements objectives for his/her activity


• Responsible for realization of objectives


• Develops/improves accounting procedures


• Structured environment, defined by practices and legal requirements and in which analyses are based on various alternatives

Anforderungen:

• Solid Educational path in Finance. Commercial Degree with Swiss Further Education Certificate (Fachauseweis Finanz/Rechnungswesen) or similar Higher Education degree in Accounting


• Minimum 5 years of Experience in Accounting, with prior experience within a Private Bank


• Excellent knowledge of Swiss GAAP FER / OR and IFRS


• Strong experience working with SAP or other well acknowledges ERP systems (as well as FiRE for regulatory reporting tasks)


• Analytical mind-set, strong result- and quality-oriented approach in work, great communication and people skills,


• change management proficiency
