What it's about
Partners Group’s structuring team is responsible for developing innovative investment structures and funds for institutional and private investors globally. Structuring professionals regularly interact with the firm’s client relationship management, investment and operations teams as well as with clients, external professionals and regulators. Representative projects include, for example, the establishment of investment vehicles (limited partnerships and other investment funds), design and formation of bespoke investment structures, review of regulatory frameworks (AIFMD, MiFID), negotiation of customized client mandates and participation in marketing meetings.
Responsibilities:
Efficiently manage complex structuring projects
Draft and/or review agreements, offering memoranda and documentation relating to investment structures (funds, mandates, financing solutions)
Research tax, legal, regulatory and accounting considerations relevant to specific clients, products and jurisdictions
Instruct and manage external legal advisors and other service providers
Design and implement innovative product and investment structures
Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and service providers
Support business development efforts (presentations, client meetings, etc.)
