About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and upbeat individual to join the Corporate Development team in Swiss Re's commercial insurance Business Unit, Corporate Solutions (CorSo). This position will focus primarily on supporting the Sustainability Initiative at CorSo, which aims to accelerate growth of sustainability focused solutions for our customers as well as ensure that sustainability is (further) embedded into CorSo's core operations and business decisions. Beyond the Sustainability Initiative, the successful candidate will also get exposure to and the opportunity to lead / support other corporate development projects.

Your tasks will include, but are not limited to:

• Lead / support execution of specific deliverables of the CorSo Sustainability Initiative


• Lead / support the development of internal and external communication frameworks


• Support the development of KPIs and reporting of progress within the Sustainability Initiative


• Perform market/data analyses to understand and forecast sustainability trends within specific industries


• Support the development sustainability-focused product development opportunities


• Support the development of business cases covering a diverse range of regions and products


• Perform market/data analyses to understand and forecast market trends in the insurance industry


• Prepare and present reports & presentations summarizing your research and facilitating business decisions


• Work in collaboration with business representatives to identify and advance business initiatives

About the Team

Corporate Development is an international team that serves as a strategic arm of CorSo. We are involved in an exciting range of projects, including developing strategic plans and roadmaps, entering new markets, launching new products, building new business capabilities, pursuing merger & acquisition opportunities and digital transformation.

About You

• Bachelor or Master degree, showing strong academic performance in a quantitative or semi-quantitative discipline (e.g. natural sciences, engineering, business management, economics or finance)


• You can demonstrate knowledge and understanding of sustainability topics (ESG – environmental, social, governance) specifically from a large corporate perspective.


• Knowledge of social media marketing and communication would be an asset, especially in a corporate environment


• Strong user of MS Powerpoint and other Office applications (Excel, Teams, Word, Share-point)


• Fluent in English; other languages are an advantage
