CLASS 4 LASER PROFESSIONALS is a high tech SME founded in 2011 by a passionate, highly skilled team with years of
experience in laser micro-processing. Our customers are from such demanding industries as the Swiss watch,
(crystals & stones, micro-welding), medical devices (stents, endoscopes, prosthesis), aerospace (turbines, filters),
electronic (sapphire, welding of dissimilar materials), tooling (CBN, mono and polycrystalline diamond) or
automotive industry (filters, injection nozzles).
Class 4 Laser is partner in numerous national, European and international research projects for laser technology
within the European Union research initiative HORIZON 2020.
Welding of challenging materials, micro-drilling at high pace, precision cutting of sensitive materials or micro
surface structuring are some of our specialties.
Additionally, we manufacture modular Laser systems for our customers around the world.
OUR GOAL?
To support our customers throughout their Laser applications by offering flexible and specific solutions: R&D,
contract manufacturing or Laser systems.
To do so, Class 4 Laser Professionals AG is divided in 2 main departments: Contract Manufacturing (Job Shop) &
Systems Development.
In order to support our Sales & marketing team, we are offering a paid internship of minimum 4 months, in Lyss,
between Neuchatel, Bienne and Berne, Switzerland. This internship can be combined with a Bachelor or Master
thesis.
YOUR MISSION
During your internship you will be fully integrated in our Sales & Marketing team. Your main tasks are
operational, but we expect you to bring your own colour and creativity to our Marketing & Sales strategy. Thus
we will define together the exact denomination of your thesis goal when required
Marketing & Communication

• Participation in the marketing & CI strategy for our different sectors


• Creation of flyers, posters, advertisements or internal and external documents


• Creation of imagery for our digital and physical presence on fairs (tablets, stand ups, booth design…)


• Content creation for our website. Work in collaboration with our Marketing Director


• Translation English German / French or coordination of the translations with an external translator


• Help to create / send our Newsletter

Sales support

• Participation in commercial relations to better understand our products and customers


• Help with the organization of fairs, events and conferences


• Help with the writing of sales offers and related documents (follow-up and order confirmation)


• Participation to projects related purchasing and follow-up of purchasing & billing


• Participation to logistic tasks (import-export of goods)


• Search for new business opportunities


• Adding contacts, statistics of commercial activities and business contacts in the CRM system

YOUR PROFILE

• Undergraduate / Graduate student working towards degree in Marketing or Sales preferred


• Good knowledge of design software (Photoshop or Illustrator / Indesign / Affinity, Wordpress) and MS-Office


• You are motivated, dynamic and proactive with a strong team spirit


• You enjoy working autonomously and taking responsibilities


• You have a creative and analytic mind


• You have excellent communication and organization skills


• A first internship in an industrial / B2B environment would be an asset


• German and English Speaking are mandatory. French is an asset
