The Investigations Manager will coordinate and/or lead/manage an investigation team and/or conduct investigations and/or participate in investigation teams in accordance with LafargeHolcim’s investigation guidelines regarding allegations of fraud, corruption, serious misconduct posing a significant risk to the LafargeHolcim Group or any of its businesses or joint ventures.


Responsibilities



  • Conduct and/or manage simultaneous investigations across multiple jurisdictions

  • Provide oversight and guidance to investigations managed or undertaken by other Group resources

  • Prepare fit-for-purpose investigations reports and brief business and functional Senior Management on findings, including root causes, and control and process gaps

  • Manage internal and external resources supporting investigations (e.g. consultants, forensic IT specialists)

  • Prepare and support investigation trainings, including formal presentations, workshops and written materials

  • Assist with and/or deliver presentations to relevant Sanctioning Committees during their decision making process

  • Liaise and co-ordinate with partner functions including Human Resources, Legal & Group Compliance, Group Internal Control, Group Security and Group Internal Audit to enhance teamwork and cooperation


Education/Qualifications



  • University Degree (Law, Business, Accounting, Finance, Computer Science, Scoial Sciences, Engineering)

  • Investigations or Forensics training desired


Experience



  • 5-10 years of professional investigations experience in a corporate entity or professional firm

  • Experience with digital forensic methodology and e-Discovery data review (desirable)


Knowledge & Skills



  • Experience with digital forensic methodology and e-Discovery data review (desirable)

  • Sound understanding of business processes and internal controls to mitigate risk, Anti-Bribery and Corruption and Anti Money Laundering contols and laws, Fraud and Financial Crime

  • Knoweldge and experience of investigatory techniques, including conducting interviews the use of data analytical and document review tools to assist in investigations, drafting reports of factual findings reports and handing evidential material for the purpose of giving evidence (disciplinary hearings, arbitration, court or other legally empowered body) and being able to respond under cross examination in support of investigation findings

Language Requirements

Professional fluency in English, Proficiency at least one other applicable language (German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Arabic, Chinese, Russian, others spoken in LH countries
