What you achieve

If we offer the best possible platform for service development in terms of quality, consistency, and maintenance, it is thanks to you. You make sure hardware, software, and applications are available, and you respond professionally and efficiently to interruptions. For platform-relevant services, you handle change requests, security patches, and lifecycle projects. You support and define architectures for platform projects that are technically and economically feasible. In addition, you configure and install software and hardware components, compile the necessary documentation, and distribute it. To integrate components currently in use, you also develop or support software solutions. You are responsible for installing, configuring, and supporting our Unix/Linux server on several complex and heterogeneous security platforms.

Why you succeed

• Degree (UAS/technical college) in computer science, telecommunications, or several years of experience in the IT environment


• In-depth knowledge of IT security, architecture, and network technologies; experience with load balancers, proxies, and other access control devices is a plus


• Several years of experience with Unix/Linux, highly competent with security services (PKI, HSM)


• Familiar with script programming (Bash, Perl, or Python)


• Ideally experience in maintaining and operating standard applications (e.g. Apache/Tomcat, MySQL, LDAP)


• Understanding of distribution, automation, and configuration management in larger environments


• Ready to work on call for 3rd-level support


• Flexible, independent, and committed personality


• Good English and German
