Ontology engineer

We are looking for software engineers with strong background in knowledge base development. The big goal is to move our current core financial ontology to the next level, which will enable us to extract key economics insights from unstructured data. This is a challenging and exciting role that is critical to the strategic success of Move Digital AG. Successful applicants will enjoy a very high level of management visibility and recognition for their successes, constant support from NLP and the management teams.

Tasks:

• Move current ontology to the next level unlocking reasoning capabilities




• Build a pipeline of automated ontology reasoning and data integration




• Build a high-quality production and system integration processes

Must require Qualifications & Experience:

• English spoken / written to B2 level


• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline


• Strong background in algorithms and computer science


• Minimum 3 years of experience working with core Java, C++ or C#


• Minimum 2 years of working with knowledge bases (RDF, OWL, SPARQL)

Desired experience:

• Master’s degree preferred depending on level of experience


• Experience working with Python2/3


• Experience with micro-services architecture and Java Enterprise Edition


• Experience in Natural Language Processing
