Investor Relations Officer

In this unique role you will act as Roche spokesperson to institutional investors and the financial community in general. You will be the main contact person facilitating the two-way communication between financial analysts, investors and shareholders on the one hand and company management on the other hand.


Your main responsibilities:



  • Liaise with internal groups - including Early R&D (gRED, pRED), Group Communications, Divisional Marketing, Clinical, Research, Group and Divisional Finance and Development personnel - in order to keep abreast of current and future information flow and to ensure consistent delivery of messaging across departments and to align strategies & actions plans

  • Represent Roche’s IR position, value and strategies externally and within the company, voicing the needs of the institutional investors and the financial community

  • Build the financial community’s understanding and appreciation of Roche’s Pharmaceutical pipeline

  • Provide IR feedback to annual report / interim report, and financial press releases; contribute to the quarterly investor presentation

  • Organize and provide quarterly pipeline appendix (clinical slide overview) as a result from the pre-quarter discussions with LCL’s and PTL’s and the Q&A document

  • Act as “back-up” on Roche Pharmaceuticals marketed products

  • Organise, participate and contribute to Roche scientific events at major congresses to detail important new data for the financial community

  • Conduct and attend investor-focused activities such as investor visits, roadshows and broker conferences with and without management


Your Profile:


Base of your success is a strong scientific or medical background combined with 5+ years of working experience in Pharmaceuticals or an associated field.


These skills and competencies will help to be successful in this role:



  • Ability to network and liaise with a wide variety of groups in order to gain and share information

  • Strong communication skills, including ability to explain and present difficult scientific concepts and data in a manner understandable by the financial community

  • Ability to travel including to US

  • Proficient in Google (GMail/ G-Drive) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Powerpoint, etc.) with strong powerpoint design skills
