The Insights team uses data to understand, manage, and drive end-customer demand. They support all areas of the business by providing insights into product and customer behaviour, and use those insights to move the company forward. FELFEL is a data-driven company, and the Insights team provides the fuel.


YOUR ROLE:


As a member of the Insights Team, your world will revolve around keeping our customers happy by making sure they have enough good food at work every day. You’ll do this through a combination of hands-on inventory  & revenue management and strategic analysis.


INVENTORY ALLOCATION AND DEMAND PLANNING



  • You provide our customers with exactly the right amount of food each day, balancing between waste and stockouts, in cooperation with our Data Scientists. You have your finger on the pulse of our 400+ locations, and work with the Corporate Partnerships team to understand and cater to individual locations’ needs.

  • You link the front office to operations, serving as a revenue & inventory expert to the Corporate Partnerships, Customer Happiness, and Growth teams. You answer inquiries, perform ad-hoc analyses, and make adjustments when necessary.

  • You make sure we have accurate inventory at every single location, as well as in our warehouse. You put processes and metrics into place to ensure that each unit is tracked and accounted for


PRODUCT & INVENTORY ANALYSES



  • You understand demand patterns and their implications, monitoring historical data to predict future behaviour. You become intimately familiar with the factors that influence demand along different dimensions, and translate that knowledge into better stocking and forecasting decisions

  • You generate insights into product performance to better understand - and ultimately drive – demand, optimizing for customer reach, as well as sales. You make recommendations on menu design so that we fill gaps and continuously improve our offering

  • You analyze buying behaviour to gain an in-depth understanding of when and why stockouts and waste occur, and then use that information to minimize both metrics. You know what our customers want and when they want it – and then provide it to them 


WHO YOU ARE / WHAT YOU BRING:



  • Analytical skills: Your analytical skills are your strong point, and you aren’t afraid of big – and sometimes messy – data sets. SQL knowledge and Excel expertise are required, and Tableau/data visualization/etc. experience would be a huge asset.

  • Hands-on, ‘Doer’ personality: You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are energized by daily operational pressure - we are an ultra-fresh food business, meaning our inventory decisions have immediate, real-life impacts.

  • You are an Allrounder: You link your analysis with the commercial side in order to achieve our goals.

  • Sense of humor: Humor is a core value at FELFEL.

  • Fast learner: We like to learn new things, fail fast and explore new territories - so do you

  • You don’t smoke during the work day.

  • You work well under pressure. Your decisions have immediate effect on a significant portion of our revenue.
