Your Mission:


The Senior Project Manager have direct responsibility to ensure Business Objectives and value are delivered through the successful delivery of programs and projects.


This includes ensuring that delivery is fit-for-purpose, in scope, time and budget and provides the business benefits requested at the outset. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for ensuring that programs and projects support and enhance global business processes and that these processes are operating efficiently, effectively and in compliance. The Senior Project Manager has a key role in ensuring that projects are aligned to Strategic objectives and enhance the IT landscape to add true business value, using effective, efficient Project Management processes and practises. As Senior Project Manager cultivate methodology, pursue continuous improvement in project management excellence. Mentoring and educate project managers.          


Responsibilities and duties:


PROGRAM/PROJECT EXECUTION


- Lead, manage and carry out successful delivery of multiple complex and strategic programs/projects (potentially several in parallel), via team mobilisation, optimal resource planning, effective execution and stringent budgetary control (CAPEX & OPEX) with an annual investment value of up to 10 MIL EUR


PMO PROCESS


- Drive continuous improvement of Project Management processes, governance and methods in order to continually maximise value delivery to key stakeholders and the business at large. Execute these processes consistently throughout the lifecycle of programs/projects


BUSINESS PROCESS


- Direct responsibility that Global Processes are respected, performing efficiently in the context of the program/project, and are in compliance


- The responsibility includes proactively identifying and promoting process improvement


STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT


- Identify, build and maintain strong positive working relationships with internal & external key business stakeholders with the aim of becoming a trusted partner


- Communicate achievements and value of PM services to business and IS Stakeholders and maintain a positive relationship with all stakeholders in order to understand priorities and develop a positive project environment, including the management of External Vendors and Outsourcing relationships and staffing


PROGRAM/PROJECT REPORTING


- Carry out timely updates of the Global IT Portfolio Management dashboard, ensuring accurate reporting of prioritisation, state of project (cost, time, scope) and project value


- Provide regular, meaningful and accurate reports to the project key stakeholders and to Global IT management


CHANGE MANAGEMENT


- Ensure that appropriate & comprehensive Change Management and Business Impact Analysis has been considered by the program/project Business Lead


TEAM MANAGEMENT


- Construct, lead, develop, motivate and manage project teams towards project goals. Ensure proper on-boarding in project processes, tools, milestones, compliance. Assess & maintain relevant skills and provide guidance and coaching to support the project delivery.


- Blend people into teams when needed and create strong morale and spirit in the team. Shares wins and successes, foster open dialogue and let people finish and be responsible for their work. Define success in terms of the whole team and create a feeling of belonging in the team


COMPLIANCE


- Ensure a high level of compliance with Ferring standards e.g. project quality management, business analysis, organisational change management, and relevant external and internal regulations and guidelines are in the scope of projects in compliance and carried out


SOLUTION VALIDATION & DELIVERY


- Ensure programs/projects contain effective technical and functional solutions and delivery requirements, evaluating and cross-checking solution complexity and suitability to purpose.


STRATEGIC ALIGNMENT


- Ensure that programs/projects that are under-taken are aligned to Corporate Strategy and adhere to overall business objectives.


Required Experience & Competences:



  • University degree, Master or equivalent in information systems, Finance or Supply Chain Planning

  • 5+ years of related management experience in Process Industry.

  • 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical IT

  • 10+ years in project management

  • 5+ years in Information Systems projects

  • Experience in executing projects with ‘Agile’ methodology

  • Experience of GXP regulated work within the Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • English –Fluent in speaking and writing

  • Knowledge and experience working with complex business cases

  • Proven ability to manage and lead people

  • Experience leading multiple simultaneous IT projects

  • Experience in executing and delivering projects in one or multiple of the following business domains such as: R&D, Commercial/Sales, Technical Operations/Supply Chain or Finance will be considered as an advantage
