For our client, an innovative Biotechnology company with laboratories in the Basel region we are accepting applications from highly motivated individuals for the role of


Your Responsibilities

The successful candidate will join the Analytical Chemistry group and provide analytical and scientific support to various groups within the Research and Development department. In addition, the successful candidate will be involved in the quality control of products during manufacturing.

The successful candidate will have a passion for analytical chemistry and will be results-driven. Due to the collaborative nature of this position good communication skills are essential.

• The design and implementation of analytical methods such as HPLC, LC-MS, GC-MS etc


• Routine analysis of samples in the laboratory


• Troubleshooting experiments and maintenance of analytical instruments


• Collaboration with other departmental groups for the planning of experiments and communication of results

Who you are

• BSc in Analytical Chemistry (or similar). Laboratory Technicians with several years of hand-on experience will also be considered.


• At least 2 years' experience working in an analytical laboratory (preferably industrial) using methods such as HPLC, LC-MS


• Profound knowledge of chromatographic techniques


• Able to work well in a team and in a fast-paced dynamic environment


• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
