Temp Paralegal Senior Assistant EMEA (6 months)



In this position you will be responsible for providing paralegal support and assistance to in-house legal staff and coordination with outside legal counsel. Duties include preparation of any type of legal documents, document collection and review, coordinating all aspects of project intake and tracking and assuming responsibility for the maintenance of the project files and filing.


Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities:


  • Responsible for coordinating all aspects of the department’s timely, complete and accurate responses to numerous simultaneous requests in project matters

  • Organizing and maintaining accurate filing and archiving for all projects

  • Coordinating with external legal counsel on specific assignments, reviewing preliminary advice and providing recommendations to the internal supervising attorney

  • Acting as liaison with various internal departments and personnel as well as providing assistant support to the legal team members

  • Assisting in drafting correspondence, various contracts, amendments, legal letters and other related documents

  • Accurate and timely maintenance of project status spreadsheet and contracts data base

  • Reviewing, analyzing and checking documents submitted to the legal department



Your Qualifications and Experience:


  • Matura degree or equivalent as well as a paralegal certificate

  • 4+ years of experience as a Paralegal

  • Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus

  • Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to review legal documents and organize numerous legal documents in complex matters

  • Ability to work in a team environment and to report regularly to the manager and the department lawyers

  • Good time management skills to handle accurately multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Excellent working knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)

  • Fluent oral and written communication abilities in English and German, Spanish or French would be an asset
