For an international company in the global agribusiness market in Stein (AG) we are looking for a

Research Assistant Biology – temporary assignment 100%

Accountabilities

• Carry out and interpret a well-defined range of routine laboratory experiments


• Execute a series of routine experiments in support of projects, or manage routine screens


• Maintain procedures, equipment and facilities, contribute to the definition of guidelines and procedures


• Document experiments and test results, contribute to reports and propose appropriate follow up actions


• Responsible for organization of own laboratory work including ordering laboratory supplies and equipment


• Ensure compliance with internal guidelines regarding Health, Safety and Environment


• Openness to new ideas and technology and able to proactively make proposals for improvements, record and communicate them, share knowledge and best practice

Your skills & experiences

• Apprenticeship in Agrobiology or other technical discipline / BSc in agrobiology disciplines or equivalent professional education


• Able to establish a network with other internal teams in Biology and work flexibly and collaboratively


• Some experiences / practical work within laboratories


• Able to communicate in English and German at a proficient level


• Able to work independently as well as part of a team


• Background in agronomy would be an asset


• sense of flexibility
