The Impact You Will Make


As our EB and RM Senior Specialist, EMEA you’ll be accountable for activating Thermo Fisher Scientific’s employer brand across EMEA while interacting and being a key member of the TA Global Talent Attraction Team.


Targeting both internal and external audiences, your primary responsibility will include leveraging the global employment brand architecture to implement a content-based strategy through storytelling. Your work will be segmented by audience need supported with your knowledge of the social recruitment landscape. You will be a go-to resource for the EMEA TA team in helping to drive awareness of and shaping the company’s reputation and internal and external employee brand. And, definitely the most fun, you’ll be a key ambassador of our corporate culture, serving as a connector between teams, departments, and people.


How Will You Do It?


You’ll provide professional-level support and service in the activation of our employer brand across EMEA, including the implementation of the regional media buy, the management of external vendor relationships, and the creation and development of recruitment marketing, branding, and advertising programs. Specifically, your role will be to:



  • Activate the EMEA employer brand as part of the global content strategy:

    • Understand the complexities and nuances of multiple markets you’ll support;

    • Collaborating with your team, TA Attraction, ensure that the strategy fits with company business goals;

    • Develop and activate brand awareness and engagement campaigns in your markets in partnership with TA and our business partners; and

    • Develop, edit, and post EMEA hiring content to our global career site and populate the TA intranet with tools to support the TA team’s global brand activation.


  • Regional resource for EMEA TA brand & recruitment marketing supporting brand awareness, collaboration, communication, and evaluation of success:

    • Collaborate closely with EMEA TA regional leadership and team to support regional hiring objectives;

    • Provide internal EMEA TA communication support such as drafting newsletter copy and refining team presentations.

    • Understand the best analytics and evaluation practices. Develop and present consistent, timely reporting on key performance indicators;

    • Stay current with regional benchmarking and other evaluation methods for best practice measurements to support our continued status and commitment to best-in-class employer branding strategies; and

    • Gain depth of knowledge through experience with all current and trending online media, such as forums and blogs, to help meet regional needs for talent attraction.



How Will You Get There?


Required Education and Experience:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Advertising, or a directly related field.

  • Two or more years of Employer Brand and Recruitment Marketing experience leading projects supporting brand content strategy and recruitment marketing initiatives.

  • Demonstrated organizational and creative problem-solving skills with a reputation for translating ideas into workable solutions.


Required Qualifications:



  • Knowledge of recruitment marketing strategies and activities to improve employer brand

  • Ability to seek and respond to customer feedback

  • Proven skill with offering meaningful improvement recommendations for service delivery

  • Excellent English communication skills, including speaking/writing, editing, and proofreading.

  • Ability to direct the delivery of content that engages audiences for multiple media channels.

  • Ability to work independently and on deadline, while handling multiple projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service.

  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail resulting in the ability to frame layered issues and seek optimal creative solutions.

  • Ability to demonstrate success in a team-based environment, including highly collaborative, flexible, and agile

  • Knowledge of TA technology and general business intelligence tools: ATS, CRM, Power BI

  • Competency in Microsoft Office Computer Applications

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 10% of the time as needed


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Working knowledge of common TA concepts, practices, and procedures and the needs/demands of the recruiting community.

  • Working knowledge of or experience with leveraging a global employment brand architecture and implementing a content-based strategy through storytelling, segmenting by audience, and successfully the search and social recruitment landscapes.
