We’re looking for an outstanding Digital Operations Manager to join our VF team in Stabio for a temporary period.

The Digital Operations Manager is responsible for the development and implementation of the e-Commerce operational business plan across brands website. This role requires a proven track record in relationship management and organizational skills, as well as easily identifying and communicating business requirements and objectives, while always keeping the customer experience at the core of all decisions.


The objectives of the role are to facilitate changes and improvements to the logistical, service and experience-based processes that directly affect the end consumer to grow revenue / operating income and deliver the ultimate brand / product online experience.


We expect that our Digital Operations Manager will deliver unbeatable results whilst also fulfilling the following aspects of the role:   



  • Act as a bridge/facilitator between the brands e-Commerce teams and multiple business units (including Customer Services, Logistics, DC/Supply Chain, Central Technology, Retail, Merchandising, Project Management) to manage strategic solutions (e.g. Payment providers, delivery services, packaging, web products/services etc.) to enhance the customer experience.

  • Collaborate with Legal Dept. to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations (e.g. Terms & conditions, sales & promotions rules, etc).

  • Act as point of reference for the eCom payment service providers and coordinate business enablement’s in the payment area.

  • Work with the brands on all projects related to operation area (Customer service, Logistics, DC supply chain).

  • Be an SME ensuring all business requirements are identified, communicated and documented into the business case on a project-by-project basis, ensuring optimal operational process design and financial ROI outcomes on all initiatives.

  • Collaborate, support and sometimes execute parts of the scenario’s during the UAT in order to ensure new features/functionality are successfully released.

  • Collaborate and share best practices with brands and procurement on purpose driven initiatives such as packaging.

  • Acts as an innovator, is searching for new opportunities and is not afraid to test and learn.


  


How you’ll make a difference…    



  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • You have 3 years of Retail Ecommerce experience.

  • You have all around experience and understanding of Ecommerce systems, processes and customer experience / expectations.

  • You have experience working with technical and business teams for requirements gathering.

  • You have had exposure in working within a business trading across multiple countries.

  • You preferably have multi-channel experience.
