Director of Bachelor Programs - Permanent 100% contract - Bulle, Switzerland

You hold a Ph.D. or equivalent in a business-related discipline and have significant industry experience, as well as several years of managerial experience in the field of education. You demonstrate leadership skills and impact in an academic setting; you are autonomous, pragmatic, entrepreneurial and innovative. You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and fluency in spoken and written English. You demonstrate ability to work with multicultural teams and in an international environment. You have experience in the use of technology in education support, teaching and learning, have highly developed interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. You hold a valid Swiss work permit or are eligible to work in Switzerland. Then we are interested by your profile as we are looking for a Director of Bachelor Programs who will manage the following missions:


 


In charge of the Bachelor programs and its specializations



  • Design, develop and deliver the programs in accordance with the school strategy and portfolio (Swiss and UK campuses)

  • Define, validate, and implement the content of the program (credits, course descriptions, delivery methods, assessments, field trips)

  • Contribute actively to the recruitment/sourcing of external and internal faculty for the Bachelor Programs

  • In collaboration with the Academic dean and the Academic administration, allocate faculty to courses and contribute to the scheduling process

  • Prepare and oversee the budget allocated to the Bachelor Programs in collaboration with the Academic Dean and Finance

  • Organize and supervise key BBA processes, such as collation and co-ordination of Bachelor Thesis, Applied Business Project, Foreign Language Classes, On-line Internship, selection of specialization, and other elective based courses.


 


Students support and assistance



  • Manage student issues, in collaboration with the Dean of Students as needed

  • Provide regular debriefings with students

  • Connect the students with the Alumni network


 


Supervision of the teaching team



  • Analyse course evaluations in collaboration with the Faculty development team

  • Provide educational guidelines to faculty, including assessments, rules and regulations, procedures, course structure and pace in collaboration with the Faculty Development and/or the Academic Dean

  • Participate and support faculty talent performance and portfolio processes.


 


Teaching responsibilities



  • Teach courses for the program if appropriate
