.NET/C# Desktop Developer

Your tasks & responsibilities

• As a Software Engineer you will have a unique and exciting opportunity to join a young and dynamic company, committed to delivering value added services in the investment product space.


• You will be part of the IT Development department, responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining key business applications and services for Traders, Sales and Structures.


• Work directly with Traders, Sales, Structurers and IT units to implement, maintain and support key software solutions using Excel VSTO / Excel-DNA and .NET/C#


• Improve and maintain existing Excel VSTO / Excel-DNA and .NET/C# solutions that tightly integrate into our IT platform


• Provide support for these solutions and your own developments


• Proactively reach out to your clients and peer developers, sit next to them, and understand their needs and requirements without Business Analyst


• Build trust-based relationships with your colleagues and clients


• Produce quality code while meeting ambitious deadlines


• Be prepared to occasionally work on evenings or weekends from home when mandated by out-of-hours releases or support needs

Our requirements

• Professional experience in creating Excel-based solutions and backend services, with strong .NET/C# programming skills


• DevOps experience configuration management, containers, virtualization, continuous integration and deployment


• Professional experience in SQL and simple SQL database management operations


• Good knowledge of financial products or a strong interest in learning about them


• Solution-driven and keen to explore the world of investment banking and derivative financial products


• Strong foundations in programming paradigms like Object Oriented-Programming, and agile development practices like Kanban


• Track record of delivering working solutions in a short time-frame


• Good spoken and written English communication skills


• professional experience with Excel/VBA


• working knowledge with at least one scripting language (VBS, Python, PowerShell, bash)
