Commercial Controlling Coordinator - Your future position?


As a Commercial Controlling Coordinator with Givaudan you will use your passion for data management to support the commercial organization and ensure state-of-the-art business performance management.


You will be part of Business Processes and Data Management in the EAME Commercial Controlling department for Flavours reporting to the Senior Controlling & Business Processes Manager.  Your main responsibilities will be the verification and processing of data maintenance and reallocation requests from sales users as well as handling and validating rebate agreements.

You Will:


 



  • Ensure timely and qualitative data management in commercial systems: You will be responsible to validate and perform master data maintenance. You will process monthly quality check activities, organize and drive annual data updates to ensure data integrity and enable accurate and fair business performance management for the Commercial organization.


 



  • Manage rebate agreement activities: You will organize and administer the implementation and tracking of rebate related activities following our policies and guidelines. This includes the set-up of rebates in SAP, documentation, regular reviews and maintenance of accruals. You will control and approve rebate payout calculations and initiate payments. You will facilitate collaboration between Pricing, Controlling, Sales, Finance, Tax and Credit departments. 


 



  • Guarantee compliance with controlling policies and guidelines: You will support definition, documentation, implementation and maintenance of guidelines and principles. You will have the opportunity to participate in projects and contribute in process improvement initiatives.


 



  • Collaborate and support cross-functionally: You will engage in daily support and guidance of sales power users to develop local experts. You will analyze and coordinate the resolution of commercial data inconsistencies and troubleshoot issues reported by users. You will validate user access rights and work closely with the global departments and Givaudan Business Solutions.



You Have:



  • Commercial apprenticeship with federal diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Administration

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience in the area of data management, controlling or finance, preferably in Manufacturing – ideally Chemical, Pharma or FMCG

  • Experience within an international environment

  • Preferably knowledge in SAP ECC maintenance

  • Fluency in English and German (written and spoken)

  • Analytical and numerical skills 

  • Advanced MS Excel and MS  Office skills

  • Affinity to deal with complex IT systems 

  • Working in an accurate and resilient manner with high attention to detail
