Senior ESG Analyst

Within the ESG Competence Center team of Vontobel Asset Management in Zurich we are looking for a Senior ESG Analyst. The team is providing ESG research services for clients within Vontobel as well as external clients. The ESG analyses are conducted by applying a proprietary ESG assessment model.

Your Challenge

• ESG analyses of companies and bond issuers in a number of industries and sectors to be determined, depending on the experiences and qualifications of the candidate


• This includes in-depth ESG analyses of a limited number of companies and issuers as well as maintenance of the ESG data base and assessment model based upon external ESG data


• Data management and processing related to ESG analyses and ESG client reporting


• Producing summary factsheets of the results of in-depth ESG analyses as well as articles and white papers on ESG research topics


• Supporting portfolio management teams in developing customized ESG strategies


• Supporting the sales teams with presentations and ESG reports for clients

 

Your Qualification

• Long-standing experience in ESG research, in financial research with strong ESG components or in corporate sustainability management


• Solid data management skills (Excel, financial information systems)


• Team player, able to work under pressure and to focus on the essentials


• Solid publication and presentation skills


• Portfolio management knowledge


• University degree in business, economics or engineering, preferably related to sustainable development


• Fluency in English and German, French would be an asset
