For our Management Team in Baden, ABB Turbocharging (www.abb.com/turbocharging) is looking for a Global Product Group Continuous Improvement Manager.

In this challenging role we offer you a unique opportunity to build and maintain the capabilities on Lean Six Sigma within the Product Group Highspeed and to establish a culture of continuous improvement. In order to make quality and productivity initiatives relevant to and most efficient for our global business, you have to quickly build up strong business understanding of the turbocharging business. You act as a leader with remote and indirect leadership and you will drive cultural transformation within the scope of responsibility.


Your responsibilities



  • Promote and support the deployment of the Operational Excellence and Quality strategy (OPEX&Q) globally and establish Lean Six Sigma capabilities in the Product Group high-speed

  • Continuously evaluate the performance with regard to customer satisfaction, quality and productivity with suitable KPIs and propose improvement initiatives considering the business priorities

  • Establish, monitor and lead continuous improvement and quality initiatives in the global high-speed Product Group with a structured approach

  • Accelerate the rate of operational improvement to achieve superior results in customer satisfaction and productivity

  • Establish a continuous improvement culture in the Product Group High-Speed as the accountable Black Belt and act as an ambassador and first point of contact for the Lean Six Sigma community


Your background



  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Engineering or Business Administration

  • Lean Six Sigma black belt qualified (or green belt with extensive working experience)

  • Profound experience in a similar position, preferably in an industrial environment

  • Experience in leading large international process improvement projects

  • Digital mindset and exposure to digitalization of processes

  • Well-developed analytical and strategic abilities complemented by strong leadership skills

  • Open mindset and strong interpersonal skills

  • Fluent English, any additional languages (especially German) are a definite asset
