Cyber Security Engineer
Are you passionate on data privacy and cybersecurity? To work side-by-side with software developers, system engineers, architects and security specialists to minimize privacy and security risks of our products? To interface and collaborate with other departments such as Marketing, Corporate IT and Legal? Then read on:

Your tasks


  • Conduct privacy impact and cybersecurity risk assessments for the products and services that we develop for our customers

  • Propose and develop risk mitigation measures to minimize cybersecurity risks and privacy impact

  • Define and execute security verification such as design and code reviews and penetration testing

  • Coordinate security verification tests executed by partners

  • Creation of privacy and security documentation including required regulatory documentations

  • Monitor relevant risk factors, best practices and legal changes

  • Contribute to improve our methods and tools used in our privacy and security risk management process

  • Contribute to further improve our security architecture and concepts

Your profile


  • University degree (MSc/BSc) in computer science or equivalent

  • Specialization or further education in cybersecurity. Certification such as CISSP, GSEC or similar, is a plus

  • 3+ years’ experience in security and privacy, preferably in regulated industry (medical devices), with previous exposure to GDPR is a plus

  • Solution orientated team player with a systematic and analytical approach

  • Good communication, presentation and documentation skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English, German is a plus
