Major objectives:


  • Develop a comprehensive overview of all current and planned digital products, services and business models in the Liebherr Group

  • Design a common framework for classifying and clustering digital initiatives, including but not limited to technology maturity, value-add, revenue and profit potential, development cost, and implementation risk

  • Establish an overview of available competencies and resources within the Liebherr Group for the development of digital solutions

  • Identify parallel developments and common use-cases, requirements, and customer journeys across the Liebherr digital portfolio

  • Propose organisational strategies to efficiently and effectively utilize current and future development resources in order to increase time to market, limit duplication of work, and standardize core technologies

  • Understand the key drivers and enablers behind the digitalization of Liebherr products and services, for example machine connectivity, IIoT, mobile, AR/VR, big data, and machine learning

  • Work closely with IT security and compliance to understand the risks associated with different cloud computing models and IoT architectures

  • Passion for digital products and services and solid understanding of digital trends and drivers

  • University degree or equivalent in engineering/IT fields and/or business/economics

  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and partners from various domains and cultures

  • Possession of a strong work ethic, proactive nature, and ability to operate independently

  • Fluent English and German. French advantageous

  • Willingness to travel, predominantly in Europe, 30-50%
