DESCRIPTION

Currently we are looking for
.NET Automation / Manual Tester for one of our client’s office in Zurich to make the team even stronger.



As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will work as part of an IT team to drive the analysis, design and methods of software quality assurance. You will apply new, maintain and evolve existing solutions to the financial domain system. You will also estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities.

Responsibilities



  • Improve or setup by yourself an automation framework

  • Perform manual testing activities if required by project schedule

  • Provide feedback to developers about automated testing strategies

  • Work together with developers to document the quality processes

  • Manage testing during each phase, according to working standard

  • Make improvements to functionality, design, and usability of new products

  • Permanently optimize processes in order to increase quality and efficiency standards


Requirements



  • Good general programming and automation skills

  • Experience/knowledge in C#/.NET

  • Selenium knowledge

  • Jira, XRay, (QACube), Github, TeamCity experience

  • SpecFlow for including the BDD with the C# code

  • As well as Cucumber/Gherkin for writing the BDDs

  • SQL Knowledge, DB: Postgres – nice to have but not mandatory (Oracle is fine as well)

  • Testing Deliverables Knowledge (Test Plan, Test Strategy, QAP)

  • Understanding of technical specifications (Interface specifications, APIs)

  • Troubleshooting (try to identify the root cause of a defect before actually report it)

  • Identify candidates for regression testing/ being able to decide which test cases to be automated or not

  • Impact Analysis in case of any change


Nice to have



  • Ruby

  • JMeter knowledge and experience with performance testing

  • Kofax knowledge is optionally
