Certifîcation Specialist (Freelance or limited contract)

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for quality assurance, certification and control in our Russian project business in collaboration with our Swiss project team, Russian customers and global suppliers


• Specification of technical and document requirements in accordance with the Technical Regulations of the relevant Customs Unions (TRCU)


• Compile, control and monitor / expedite of quality relevant documents of our global suppliers be it technical passports, declaration of conformities or technical data sheets


• Submit certification documentations to Russian authorities and accredited assessment bodies


• Execute quality inspection of pressure devices (containers and pipes) as well as other components on site


• Manage internal and external communication between the project teams, suppliers and conformity assessment bodies


• Responsible for the administration of certification data


• Provide certification advice to all project parties involved

Your profile:

• University degree in engineering


• At least three years of qualified experience in a similar position in the field of certification and quality assurance and three years of professional experience in the pressure devices or plant construction business


• Thorough understanding of established international standards, in particular EACU Regulations, PED2014/68/EU (AD-2000, EN 13445/ EN13480) and ASME BPVC.


• In-depth knowledge of welding and non-destructive material testing


• Fluent in Russian and English – verbal and written - are a must. German language skills would be an advantage.


• Assertive personality, like working independently, but do not neglect the communication with your team


• Willingness to travel to Russia on a regular basis (approx. 20%)
