Your role:
We are looking for highly organized candidate with excellent interpersonal skills for the position of an Event Supporter / Event Audio-Video Technician. The event support team is responsible for working under the instructions of the UBS Event Owner and Event Manager.
Are you a specialist in event audio-video, conferencing and digital media solutions? Do you know how to select venues, determining cost, arranging event services and monitoring client approvals? Working sometimes with the executive management and senior leaders is not something new to you?
We’re looking for an event support specialist to:
• advise our business partners and helping them to determine the appropriate setup for events
• liaise with cross-functional teams and internal clients before and during events to understand their requirements and deliver to their standards
• installation of audio-video equipment
• installation of speakers, lights and other multimedia equipment inclusive rigs and other stage construction
• installation of structured cabling
• operate and support UBS internal mobile video/audio conference set-up
• directing presentation/multi-media content
• attend pre-production meetings required for any scheduled special events
• assist with the internal team for multi-media broadcasting
• responsible for all inventory that includes weekly/monthly stock levels
• escalate any operational issues to the appropriate level of support and making suggestions for improvements
Your team:
You’ll be working in the UBS Event-Support team in Switzerland. As an event specialist at the Communications & Branding team, you’ll play an important role in delivering high quality event experiences to our internal and external clients.
Your expertise:
• 3 years of experience in event support, event management and event audio-video technology
• AV/Event Management related degree (i.e. audio/vision/lighting/theatre production) desired
• experience in reading/understanding architecture, electrical, structural & AV systems drawings
• vendor specific qualification in Sony Broadcast Camera, Digico Audio, Barco Event Master, Shure Wireless System, Panasonic and Christie Projectors
• ability to work day, evening or weekend shifts and travel within Switzerland
• physical stamina and high energy levels
• must have valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• solution-orientated and accustomed to tight deadlines
• diligence and attention to detail
• fluent in German and English
