Zusammenfassung der Position

Product Manager IM



We are looking for a Product Manager for Switzerland for Samsung’s IT & Mobile Communications with analytical background.



Main Tasks



Forecasting

• Market size forecast for the smartphone, tablet and wearable categories

• Market share forecast in important price segments

• Sales forecast by models



Target/Management Planning

• Getting involved in monthly target planning process

• Leading management plan process



Market Insights

• Monthly & weekly market trends analysis and high quality reporting

• Monthly in-house-market share reporting

• Operator tariff tracking and street price analysis

• Deliver high quality actionable advice based on market insights



Product & Portfolio Management for Tablet & Wearable

• Create and present product roadmaps at the customer

• Definition of a customized product range in close consultation with the relevant Key Account Manager

• Coordination of product launches with internal sales department (B2C & B2B), marketing, EHQ & HQ



Promotions

• Tracking and analysing Samsung and competitor promotions and getting involved in countermeasure setting



Support

• Support development of management or VIP reports

• Support inquiries from internal and external clients



We are looking for a motivated talent with the following qualifications and requirements:



• Bachelor's or equivalent experience, Master's degree preferred

• 3-year experience in an analyst or a research/consulting firm is preferred

• A great interest in trends and technologies in IT & Mobile market

• Excellent analytical skills, applying conceptual models, recognizing patterns while drawing conclusions

• High degree of proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including advanced functions in Excel and PowerPoint

• Strong Communicator: Ability to tell a compelling story using data

• Innovative: Always seeking to find the new and better way
