Leading international negotiations with suppliers and price discussions
Negotiating international master and individual contracts for hardware, software and services
Developing and implementing material group and supplier strategies with the business
Carrying out a proactive procurement market research (market, price and product analyses) and professional risk management
Developing and expanding supplier pools for a defined IT product category
Supplier management, including supplier audits in cooperation with the quality management and respective departments
Demonstrating potential for cost reduction with regard to products and processes
Drafting supplier analyses and assessing sourcing options
Your profile
You have obtained a degree in business information technology (technical college/university) or basic technical education in information technology, with training in business management or procurement
You have proven professional experience of at least 5 years in IT and at the same time you have acquired at least a basic understanding of commercial aspects; alternatively, you have extensive experience in IT procurement
Profound communication skills, tailored to the level of seniority, and advisory expertise, diplomatic negotiation skills as well as assertiveness
Distinctive analytical and conceptional mindset, result-oriented
Independent, practice-oriented and solution-driven working methods with high quality standards
Experience in handling procurement-related ERP modules (SAP)
