  • You have the accountability to monitor changes to US tax legislation and in turn implement appropriate actions and initiate project(s) where required

  • You would be able to lead and implement projects with regards to US tax, reporting and compliance requirements

  • Ability to provide in-house training to different business partners within Credit Suisse Trust

  • Advising internally on the implications of US tax law and the application of US Estate and gift taxes will be included in your remit

  • Responsibility for trust company US person policy, including updates and applications


 


You Offer

 

  • A University degree from a US law school (JD or LLM in taxation), admission to US bar with a strong background in tax planning

  • Minimum of 5-10 years practical experience in tax, trusts, and/or estate planning

  • Strong analytical and conceptual skills with a structured, solution oriented approach, combined with passion, dedicated and a “Can do attitude

  • Strong knowledge of trusts and their uses for international clients

  • An understanding of the tax principles and systems of taxation any you have experience in an international tax practice

  • Focus on service and dedicated approach to handling various tasks

  • As a dependable team member who wants to learn new things, you are highly motivated in supporting your colleagues in overall mandate beyond the product scope

  • The ability to juggle multiple tasks across a number of various disciplines

  • Fluency in English is a requirement, any other language skills would be a distinct advantage although not necessary
