For our Strategic Innovation Group Consumer Care based in Vevey/La-Tour-de-Peilz, Switzerland, we are currently looking for a:
Senior Project Leader
In this challenging and dynamic role, you will be part of the Global Development team and report to the Global Program Leader. Your core mission will be to manage autonomously several complex end-to-end innovation projects with high impact on the consumer business from pre-ideation to launch in main markets. You will furthermore interact proactively with the other functions, especially the business leads and operations to ensure the overall project objectives.
Further duties & responsibilities include:
Plan and Drive the End to End projects with project team contribution and ensure adequate resources and competence levels. Manage budget within allocated envelop
Deliver products, processes, systems/solutions with defined quality at defined time and cost
Effectively control scope changes through proactive and open communication with stakeholders
Coach the project team and enhance the interaction and collaboration between the various experts (international), other Nestlé units (e.g. NRC) and with external partners
Train the Project team where appropriate (e.g. Innovation process) and / or other more Junior Project Leaders
Create synergies through effective networking with all relevant groups, business partners, markets, external partners
Create a dynamic, entrepreneurial and externally-facing team focused on the successful delivery of the project objectives
Use best practices in ways of working (processes, data analysis and decision-making in the project team). Collaborate with other PLs to identify and embed these
Drive continuous improvement in projects and take lead in bringing the team to innovative ways of working
Open to challenge, new ideas, innovative ways of working, and where continuous learning and improvement are driven
Requested Education & Experience:
Master degree or PhD in Life Science
A minimum of 10 years of experience in Cosmetic development, Operations and/or Corporate Functions
A minimum of 10 years project management experience
Proven Experience leading cross functional teams
Demonstrated leadership and agility in thinking
Demonstrated courage and ability to solve problems
Proven communication skills (e.g. presents confidently and convincingly to Brand committees)
Experience in End to End Innovation processes
Proven FMCG experience or similar experience in cosmetic industry
Mastering advanced project planning and management tools
